Overview
Let us bring our toolbox of science education right to your school or youth group!
Slides, stories, demonstrations, student costumes, and audience participation bring science to life for your students.
Presentations are structured around California science standards, and are adaptable for kindergarten through eighth grade.
Depending on the age of the audience, performances range from 40 minutes to 1 hour. Each show comes with activity packets
for each grade level, giving teachers a fun and easy way to expand on the presentation.
Since 2002, these shows have inspired tens of thousands of students throughout the Sacramento and Yuba watersheds.
SYRCL’s assemblies have been sponsored by NOAA Fisheries, the Bureau of Reclamation, the Sacramento Stormwater
Management Program, and the Regional Water Authority.
